NEW WAYS TO PROVE LABOR STABILITY
To prove labor stability, the following documents must be submitted according to the type of worker:
1. Dependent Workers:
- Employment contract and attachments.
- Certificate of labor validity.
- Resolution or decree of appointment for those who work in government agencies or public institutions; certificate of seniority; and validity for civil servants.
- Payment of remunerations and / or fee slips.
- AFP’s social security contribution history card.
- Certificate of Fonasa or Isapre contributions.
2. Self-employed workers:
- Certificate of Beginning of activities.
- Annual Report of Fee Slips.
- Fee Slips.
- Tax folder of the taxpayer.
- AFP Contribution
- Statement, if applicable.
- Certificate of Fonasa or Isapre contributions.
3. Dependents:
- Affidavit of expenses.
- Proof of financial income of the breadwinner, according to their situation.
- Certificate of the congregation or church, legalized by the Bishop of the diocese or by the superior of the church.
It is essential that applicants for Permanent Residence are informed about these new requirements to ensure compliance with current regulations.
Exempt Resolution N°31.510 of the National Migration Service, recently published in the Chilean Official Gazette. This resolution details the new ways of accrediting labor stability in applications for Permanent Residence, in accordance with number 2 of article 65 of the Decree of Immigration.
