BACKGROUND FOR QUALIFYING A SICKNESS AS OF AN OCCUPATIONAL NATURE
Recently, the Temuco Court of Appeals upheld an appeal for protection against SUSESO, which classified the illness of a municipal employee as being of common origin.
The Court of Appeals held that the complaints filed by other workers against their employer, as well as the existence of sentences issued by the labor courts, are antecedents that can be considered to qualify an illness as of occupational origin.
