On August 23, Decree 32 of the Ministry of Health was published, declaring a health alert throughout the country, due to the public health emergency resulting from the outbreak of smallpox.

In view of this alert, employers are obliged to offer the modality of teleworking or telecommuting to the following persons, to the extent that the nature of their functions allows it:

Pregnant workers,
Workers who have the personal care of at least one child in pre-school stage, or persons with disabilities.
Workers who have the personal care of at least one child under 12 years of age, in the event that the authority adopts measures that imply the closing of basic education establishments or prevent attendance to them.
